Hi Sir,

Could you please share the TI TUSB1046EVM *.pjt file for me?

Our customer is copy TI schematic to design product, so they are need the pjt file.

Hi David,

Our customer use the TI TUSB1046EVM code on they PCB, the function is normal include USB2.0/USN3.0/DP.

But they are is 5V 3A output only not need sink power from device, we have create some code to customer side,

But no USB3.0 function & CTL0 always Low, we have enable USB3.0/3.1 Rate function in TI GUI.

My I have your support create TUSN1046EVM project file(*.pjt) & remove the sink power from device this function.

or our pjt file is loss Which One setting effect USB 3.0 function?

Hi David,

we are used TUSB1046 coed result as below.

If CTL0 no pull high R

1.Type-c to HDMI cable no function to monitor. CTL0:CTL1:FLIP=1:1:0

2.Type-c to USB3.0 cable no function.CTL0:CTL1:FLIP=1:0:0

If CTL0 pull high R=10k

1.Type-c to HDMI cable no function to monitor. CTL0:CTL1:FLIP=1:1:0

2.Type-c to USB3.0 cable USB function normal.CTL0:CTL1:FLIP=1:1:0

We are use 20181003 code with CLT0 pull high 10k, then HDMI & USB3.0 function normal, But usb device Detect need 30~60 second.

How can we improve the USB detect time?

So is PD controller driving the CTL0/CTL1/FLIP or are you pulling the CTL0 directly high through 10K? If you are pulling CTL0 directly high through 10K and after CTL0 is high, the device detection needs 30-60second, then you need to take a look at USB traffic using a protocol analyzer to see where the delay is.

If it is a signal integrity issue, then you need to tune the equalizer setting of TUSB1046 to compensate the signal integrity.

Hi David,

Used TUSB1046.bin code.
If USB plug in, CTL1 need a pull high 10k to change status Low to Hgih,

The 30-60 detection issue, we will check with customer for TUSB1046 equalizer setting .
