The ONET4211LD should work between 155 Mbps up to 4.25 Gbps

Would the ONET4211LD works at 1-100MHz?

If not, what prevents it?

If yes, which specification from the datasheet may be more affected from the lower bit rate?

Hi Sunset,

Different blocks within ONET4211LD device have not been characterized for these data rates therefor data sheet parametric tables are not guaranteed.

Hello Nasser,

that the part will work out of spec and we cannot guaranty it, is ok.

Is there anything that would prevent the part from working in the range 1-100MHz?

Such as a clock not going lower than 80MHz, or things like that?

Hi Sunset,
As long as we DC couple both on system side and laser driver side we should be ok. However, APC or other blocks have not been validated at these low data rates.
