SN65DP141: S-Parameter model

Hi Team,

I coudn't find the simulation model at DP141 product page. From the information in the related post, it seems there is a S-parameter model.

Q1). How can we download the model ?

Q2). I believe S-parameter model can not simulate the randam jitter which added itself, am I correct ?

We do not have IBIS-AMI model for DP141. What we have are s-parameter files which do not contain random jitter information. You will need to add random jitter information in the simulation by yourself.

Hi David-san,

In the simumation, I believe user could add random jitter on the source side.
If the source and DP141 is directly connected, is the DP141 output random jitter the same with the source since it is S-parameter ?

This is correct, Rj will just pass through the DP141 s-parameter, so the output Rj is the same as the input Rj.
