SN65DSI86: Schematic review

Part Number: SN65DSI86
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TEST2

Hi Sirs,

Sorry to bother you.

It’s heard from Qualcomm that their reference has pull high at pin “TEST2” it should be determined by our panel used , and then decide the TEST pin pull high/low.

Therefore, we need you to check 2 thing:

  1. Check schematic (refer to the attached” DSI_TO_DP_BRIDGE.pdf”)

    dsi86-edited.pdf

  2. Check the Test pins high or low with our LCM panel (refer to the attached” LQ125T1JX03.pdf”)

 Thanks!!

Do you have 2k pullup on DISP_EDP_I2C_SCL and DISP_EDP_I2C_SDA?
Do you want to add an option of having TEST2 pulled up to 1.8V?
Please check DISP_EDP_ML[n]P/N, are they AC coupled?
    Please check AUX connection

    Thanks
    David

=>  Yes, we have pull-up resistors on DISP_EDP_I2C_SCL and DISP_EDP_I2C_SDA on the other page.

Do you want to add an option of having TEST2 pulled up to 1.8V?

=>Yes,  we had added an reserved pulled-up resistor to 1.8V a few days ago..

Please check DISP_EDP_ML[n]P/N, are they AC coupled?

    => Yes

    Please check AUX connection

=>  Could you detail descript this section?  Like the above question?

For AUX, do you have AC coupling caps on the AUX? Please have 100k pullup on AUXN and 100K pulldown on AUXP.

    Thanks
