Hi, I have sent an enquiry few days ago, but I did not get a reply yet.

My Questions:

I trying to connect this 933 in the following configuration:

1. Mode setting : External oscillator mode using 48 Mhz crystal

2. Pclk is from Image Sensor is 96Mhz connected to PCLK of the 933

3, My sensor feed in to 933 is 8 bits instead of 10 Bits

Din 0 to Din 7,of 933 inputs connected to Data0 to Data7 of my sensor output

Din 8 to Din 11 of 933 input is connected to Gnd.

Does this work for the 933?

Deser connected is DS90UB954-Q1..Output form 954 is MIPI with a 25 Mhz Clock Crystal...Mode set to Raw10

Hi,

Yes this should work. However, you should leave DIN[8:11] as not connected.

On the 954, in register 0x7C make sure to specify that your data is actually RAW8 aligned to the lower 8 bits.

1. 8..11 Floating i have put it NC
2. 0x7C, I set to what You suggest lower RAW 8 bits i.e. Hex "C1"..Originally inside the register is Hex 01

But My image I receive still not Right.

I clarify with the SW, the Input to 933 is YUV422.. Is From OV490 ISP

Yes

Left Hand Side the original, Right hand side "01" after I change to " C1". Note they have not been put on lens. But the image is note Right

The Conversation in this is it Public or Pte. ( meaning is not share to Public is within TI and Me)? If it public can set to Pte?

Hello,

Can you also change register 0x70[5:0] to 0x1E. This will set up the CSI data type to YUV 422.

Hello,

1. Do you have 0x70 register setting details.. I think I cant find in the datasheet

2. The Pic I see now is Black and White.. Is YUV black and White?

The register settings for 0x70 come from the MIPI CSI-2 specification. A value of 0x1E represents YUV422 8-bit data, and 0x1F represents YUV422 10-bit data.

YUV is a colored video format. Can you provide the register settings on both the serializer and deserializer?

Thanks Mostafa.

No issue not yet solve the project was on hold that time but is back again

Now we are using with the "Black and White" image to do Active alignment

On the Active alignment calibration machine.we saw white vertical line on it . when we expand the image

So now we have 2 issues

1) Image we see is Black and white ( No Colour)

2) White tiny vertical line appear on the Image when we zoom in ( Expand )... See Image B which is the Image we capture using TI 933 Ser and 954 Deser .
