TIC10024-Q1: the value of R1/R2

Part Number: TIC10024-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIC12400-Q1

Hi Team,

My customer wants to series resistance Rs in the IN9 pin as the picture shows. But he is afraid that it will change comparator's threshold voltage.

So could you please offer the value of  R1 and R2 when the threshold voltage of comparator is 2/2.7/3/4V, so that the customer can choose a correct Rs and won't effect the threshold voltage?

Thanks a lot!

  • Hi Amelie,
What is your wetting current setting and switch configuration?
The comparator threshold value will remain 2/2.7/3/4V. The resistance added at INx pin will change the voltage level detected at INx, and depending on your switch configuration and Rs added, the threshold voltage will have to be set properly so TIC12400-Q1 can detect the correct switch status.

Please refer to below application note on how to configure TIC12400-Q1.

    Thanks,
