Hi Team

Would you advise about the software provided for SN65DP159,

what the customer need to use "EyeScan Tool".

[1] Is it possible to use DPS-DONGLE-EVM (or USB2ANY) for SN65DP159 Local I2C connection?

[2] Could you tell me the name, acquisition method, and price of the board (interface box) required for connection?

The Eyescan utility was written for the TUSB3410 specifically.

Do they have a DP159 EVM? They can use the TUSB3410 on the EVM to access DP159.

I understand that using the Eyescan tool requires access using the TUSB 3410.

Obtain TUSB3410UARTPDK and check the operation.

The TUSB3410UARTPDK needs to have its firmware updated in order to be used with the EyeScan SW. Please accept my friendship request so I can send the firmware to you.

Hi David-san

Thank you so much for your strong support to my customer.

My customer informed me that the issue was confirmed due to

another IC, so he don't need EVM any more.

This is another question that My understanding is TUSB3410 is on DP159 EVM.

So the customer don't need to get extra TUSB3410EVM for evaluation.

Is my understanding right?

Correct, the TUSB3410 on the DP159 EVM by default supports the EyeScan SW.

You can also use an external TUSB3410 EVM, but will need to update its firmware first before it can be used for the EyeScan SW.

It turned out that the original problem was caused by another IC, as Shidara answered.

On the other hand,I got TUSB3410UARTPDK, so I would like to try EyescanTool.
Could you send me the necessary firmware?

I wrote the firmware using TUSB3x10 EEPROM Burner.

It is reconfirmation

To check the operation of SN65DP159 (RSB) on our test board mounting with EyeScanTool
Is it possible only with I2C connection via TUSB3410 on DP159 EVM?

Now that I got and can use TUSB3410UART EVM is available, I would like to use EyeScanTool with I2C connection from TP2,TP3 and TP6(GND) on the board. Is it possible.
When actually connected, the List of available USB adapter will remain blank in EyeScanTool's [USB Adapter Configuration] frame. (TUSB3410 does not appear)

USB Device ID is below in Windows Device manager

It looks the TUSB3410 firmware is not being programmed correctly. The TUSB3410 should be recognized as a HID-Compliant device. Please refer to this EyeScan user guide app note: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sluubk2/sluubk2.pdf.

Thank you for your advice.
There was a problem with the setting of TUSB3x10 EEPROM Burner and firmware was not burned.
When EEPROM Page Write Size is set to 16 Bytes (* reason unknown), firmware can be burned safely
and TI's Adapter icon appeared in EyeScanTool.
