Part Number: DS90UB935-Q1

Hello,

may I help you ?

Now, I have a problem:  deserializer is DS90UB934-Q1,serializer is DS90UB935-Q1. the issue is: can not creater I2C link from deserializer to serializer, because can not find the slave ID of serializer.

Only can read &write of deserializer of DS90UB934-Q1.

waiting for your support,thanks .

  • Hello,

First can you confirm the MODE strappings for both 934 and 935 devices? Also can you confirm the PCLK rate?

    Thanks,

    Casey

    Hello,

Any update on the above questions?

    Thanks,

    Casey

  • In reply to Casey McCrea:

    sorry,Today later I will check it .

  • In reply to Casey McCrea:

1.the mode strapping is  coax raw10.

    2.pclk=96.2

BTW,now I will try new deserializer DS90UB954+ serializer 935  or 953, can you supply register for estblising I2c link between deserializer and serializer (slave including image sensor &ISP )

    thanks.

  • In reply to user6021251:

    Hello,

For 935 you must ensure that the PCLK and CSI clock have a certain ratio in order for it to work properly. This app note should give all relevant configurations needed to enable DVP mode for 935 to work with 934:

For 954 the situation is different. You should strap both devices for synchronous CSI-2 mode and then they will automatically link without any special configuration. Init code for image sensor and ISP would come from the sensor vendor.

    Best Regards,
    Casey

    Dear Casey ,

    now I use deserializer DS90UB954+ serializer 935, i2C communication is OK,sensor setting is OK(MIPI  CSI-2 2lane).

But image data can not grabbed, can you check the setting between TI954 and TI935 is write?

maybe, can you supply sample cofigure code of  between TI954 and TI935?

    thanks very much.

  • Hello,

The registers seem to be correct. Can you check register 0x61-0x63 on the 935 to verify there is CSI data coming into the serializer?

Also, in our AnalogLaunch Pad pre-defined scripts, you can find a sample script for bringing up the 954/935 link -- you will have to fill in the imager configuration though.

It seems like my attachment didn't save on here. Please let me know if you are unable to find the script within the ALP pre-defined scripts folder.
