DP83849I: Absolute maximum ratings of PMD interface pins

Part Number: DP83849I
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK110

Hello support team,

I have a question about the absolute maximum ratings of PMD interface pins of DP83849.
The absolute maximum rating of VIN and VOUT are -0.5 to VCC + 0.5 [V].

However, since the PMD output signals swing around the VCC voltage, I think that the maximum voltage of them exceed VCC.
For example, Figure 6-5 on page 91 of datasheet shows 10 Mbps waveforms, and the maximum voltage of them are about 4.6 V.

These phenomenon don't match the absolute maximum rating value.
I think that the absolute maximum rating of the PMD interface pins should be determined separately. Is my understanding correct?
DP83848 seems similar.

For reference, it seems that DP83822 and TLK110 etc. have 6 V of the absolute maximum rating regarding the PMD interface pins.

Should DP83849 and DP83848 be considered the same way?

Sincerely,
M. Tachibana
