DS90UB949-Q1: If CRC are supported on the forward channel between DS90UB949-Q1 and Ds90ub948-Q1

Hi Team,

Could you please kindly help to confirm if our DS90UB949-Q1 support forward channel CRC function? Since i found most of the description on datasheet about CRC is for the back channel,expect following one, but i am not sure if this is for forward channel? Could you please kindly help to confirm it? Thank you very much for your kindly support.

Hello Jessica,

CRC checking is only for the Back channel.

The back-channel data is checked for CRC errors once the serializer locks onto the back-channel serial stream, as indicated by link detect status (register bit 0x0C[0] ). CRC errors are recorded in an 8-bit register in the deserializer.
