Hi team,
Could you advise the suggested longest trace length when using this device on a low loss material PCB (TU-872) ?
Best regards,

Hello -
Are you trying to use the DS160PR410 in a PCIe Gen-4 application or in a non-PCIe application? If non-PCIe application, what is the datarate you plan to use it at?
The DS160PR410 can typically compensate for up to 18 dB of channel loss at 8 GHz. I estimate TU-872LK would have about 0.9 dB/inch at 8 GHz (5mil trace width assumed). Therefore, the DS160PR410 can compensate for the loss of about 20 inches of the 5mil trace length that uses TU-872LK material.
