ONET1151L: suitability

Part Number: ONET1151L

Hi,

We have the laser diode of the following Spec

here as you can see in image attached the operating voltage is 1.2V. Is it possible to use ONET1151L as a laser driver? I actually saw the schematic of ONET1151L provided in the TI website (http://www.ti.com/lit/df/tidr437/tidr437.pdf) will this driver ic suits us if we change BIAS TEE section voltage to 1.2V? In addition to that we saw the test reports of ONET1151L  IC (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidu241/tidu241.pdf) , here they have tested it with NX8349TS laser diode and its operational voltage is 2 V but the Vcc mentioned in the report is 3.3v. also just curious in the report Icc current is mentioned as 195mA to 234mA but in datasheet in the absolute maximum ratings no where these much of current value is mentioned and what is that Icc?

So if you can explain this i can use this driver IC in our project to transmit 10Gbps data.
