I use the ONET4201LD for the driving of the laserdiodes.Up to now I have used the circuit described in the datasheet. Also I have connect the BIAS pin to GND with 1nF capacitor.
What is recomended inductor (Type) for the BIAS?If I want to drive the laser diode AC-Couppled, how ist better to do that?
Inductors or ferrite beads can be used, for example the BLM15 series from Murata. which one depends upon the frequency of operation but you want a high resistance over a broad range of frequencies.
I have attached an application note on possible output drive configurations for the part.
thank you very much for the reply.
is it possible to get recommended PCB Layout (as a document) for the ONET 4201 LD?
I am sorry but we do not have a PCB layout document.
