We need a transceiver that support both SFP and SFP+ to XAUI transceiver. Do you have any recommendations?

We do not have a XAUI to SFI transceiver. The closest part is the TLK10021 which is a XAUI to XFI transceiver.

    Regards,

    Alex.

    Alex,

1.)  I looked at the link for the TLK10021.  I saw a "Product Brief", but not a data sheet.  How do I get a data sheet?

2.)  Is there any conversion logic required between the 10021 and the SFP+ LC Fibre Optic Transceiver?

    thanks

    darrell

    Darrell,

The SFI interface for SFP+ transceivers requires pre-emphasis and equalization capabilities that the TLK10021 does not have.

If you would like to discuss this further, please e-mail me at adavidson@ti.com.

    Regards,

    Alex.
