1) What is best cost effective solution we have for single port fiber 100base-T communication interface...?

    Dinu,

    We do not specifically have fiber optic components (laser drivers, transimpedance amplifiers or limiting amplifiers) for 100base-T. We focus more on higher speed communications like 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-LR. It is possible to use the ONET4201LD and ONET4201PA for 100Mbps even those ICs were designed for data rates up to 4.25Gbps. I suggest you review the ONET products on the TI website.

    This specific forum does not cover SERDES or MCUs so I suggest you refer these questions to an embedded processing forum.
