LMH6525/6526 as a laser diode driver

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH6525

Hi,

I plan to use a LMH6525/6526 as a laser diode driver. I would like to drive the laser diode (2.5G DFB) with 500mA pulsed current and the pulse width can be from 3ns to 100ns. The datasheet says the rise and fall times are 0.6/1.0ns and the total output current can be 600mA.  But the way that these times were measured is something like, Iout=150mA (read) + 150mA (10% to 90%) Rload=5 ohm. So I wonder if the driver can be used to generate a 0 to 500mA current pulse down to 3 or 4ns.

Thanks.
