Hi,

I have prepared schematic for HDMI Switc using "TMDS442" chip.

I have 2 HDMI sources (from my embedded boards) and 2 Sinks (LVDS-Monitor and HDMI-TV).

My requirements are as follows.

In Mode-0: Source-1 should connect to Sink-1

In Mode-2: Source-2 should connect to Sink-1

In Mode-3: Source-1 should connect to Sink-2

For above requirements, I have prepared schematic. Attached document here.

Could you please review it and provide me you suggestions/corrections.

Thanks,

Raju.

    Hello Raju,

I'm going to review the schematic and I will have an answer for tomorrow before COB.

    Regards.

    Raju,

I reviewed the schematic and there are no errors, just as recommendation I would place a pull-down on the unused SDA pins, Also the unused TMDS input channels can be biased by terminating to ground through a 1k resistor the complementary input of the channel and leaving the other pin floating.

Another thing is that your logic table does not match with your description of the "Modes" but that is only a "description" typo.

    Regards.

    Hi Elias Villegas,

Thanks for the review and recommendations.

As per per your recommendations, I have modified schematic and attached latest schematic documentas as an attachment.

    Please confirm the modifications.

Regarding Modes: Yes, there is type in description. I will use Mode-0, Mode-1 and Mod-2.

    Thanks,

    Raju
