Part Number: DS10BR150
I have a DS10BR150 (output) that is connected (point-to-point) to a DS90LT012A receiver. If the receiver is powered off first while the DS10BR150 is still powered on, the DS10BR150 gets blown each time. Based on the datasheets, the DS90LT has high impedance inputs and should protect the outputs. Would anyone have any insight as to why this is happening? Both are operating at 3.3V.
It is possible that there is a ground reference difference. If the inputs are pulled below local ground there is a low impedance path.
