We are using an Aptina MT9P006 image sensor and plan to serialize the image data with the SN75LVDS83B at 96MHz. The price and compact (bga) size of the SN75LVDS83B make it a good option for us. Unfortunately the matching SN75LVDS82 Deserializer only seems to be rated to 86MHz, so the only options seem to be the DS90C3202, DS90CF388 or DS90CF388A, but they are all a bit big in package size. Can you perhaps suggest a Deserializer in a BGA package at a similar price as the SN75LVDS83B that can handle the 96MHz?
(Ideally I would have wished for a matching SN75LVDS82B receiver able to handle 96MHz)
Gustaf, the 3 DS90 devices you listed are likely your best option. There's no RX device that was made specifically for the 83B, since the 83B is usually used to directly drive a panel with a built-in LVDS receiver.
