TLK6002 IBIS-AMI model

    Unfortunately, we don't have an IBIS-AMI model created for TLK6002.

    But we do have a regular IBIS model(attached), although it doesn't contain the serial transmitter and receiver. This portion is included in the attached HSPICE model, but it just describe the electric characteristic of the device(i.e., the internal termination circuit). The EQ and CDR part was implemented digitally after the signal has been sampled by the receiver's ADC front-end, so it is not included in the HSPICE model. I am not sure if the two model is ok for you. As to the equalization curve of the device, we don't have this too.

    If possible, could you tell me what sort of link are you going to use?  if need better understand the performance of the device over a particular interconnect, we can help construct something in the lab that is similar to your situation and do some BER testing.

  • Dylan-san, thank you very much for your reply. I see, I'll try to ask customer to find a another way to estimate the device performance. But I hope we will have a IBIS-AMI of the device in the future.

    I am sorry to tell you that the TLK6002 AMI model is not ready yet. As some reasons, it took more time than other parts. Our EDA team are working on this now and once get the result, i will tell you. If any others i can help you more, please tell me.

    Please find the model in the attachment. I am quite sorry for the delay, we got the first version, but some parameters is not accurate, and then spent some time doing the correlation and get the final version now.
