Hi Team,

Our customer is currently designing a board using DS100MB203.
Could you please help us how you should set "MODE" pin or register 0x17 bit6 for GbE (1.25Gbps) ?

I believe you should set to SATA/SAS, PCI Gen1/2, 10GbE mode as below, am I correct ?

- Pin mode : MODE pin = 0 : Pull down  to GND through 1k Ohm resistor
- SMBus mode : Register 0x17 bit6 = "1"

PCIe Gen3 and 10G-KR both have link training function, so I think the device would work in linear mode like DS80PCIxxx with this setting.

If there is some other points to count on to use with GbE, please let us know.

Your prompt reply is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,
Kawai
