TI FPDLink III compatibility DS90UB925Q > DS90UB302Q

Hi all,

We have to test a video device for a customer that features the new DS90UB302Q deser.

Actually we alread have availiable a board with a DS90UB925Q transmitter.

The chips are of the same familiy FPDLINK III, but i found no informations about the possible compatibility.

Is is possible to pair these two chips?

And then, how one can discriminate if a SER/DESER couple is compatible? Is there some sort of "Compatibility chart" between chips?

We finally tried the system, but the deserializer is not locking. Is there something i should take in account?

UPDATE: there was a cabling issue, the chips are compatible as stated by TI.
problem solved.
