The TLK2711-SP or -A has 40 ps jitter requirement for the GTX_CLK reference. If I am only using the device as a receiver how important is it to meet this jitter specification? As I understand it this spec is only this stringent to make sure the transmit signal is of high quality. I would like to only use the receive mode and supply GTX_CLK from an FPGA IO. Thanks
