DS90UH927 register of HDCP STS

After an interrupt of the HDCP certification failure occurred, I want to confirm status of HDCP.

However, supporting bit may not be set even if I refer to HDCP_STS.

Q1

What is it caused by?

Q2

Is "Wait" necessary between each processing?

When it is necessary, how much should "Wait" ?

  • Hello Kei Sato,

I apologize for the delay. In your case, is HDCP authentication failing after it has authenticated at least once? Or is it never authenticating in the first place?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'each processing.' Once our HDCP transmitter starts the authentication process, it will automatically re-authenticate every so often as required by the HDCP spec, or it will continually try to authenticate if the process is not completing. If interrupts are enabled (0xC6 register), then the corresponding interrupt signal will get set when they happen (0xC7).

Let me know how else I can help.

    Thanks,
    Jason
