Hello.
I have the same problem as Sebastian. I communicate with DES, but SER is not responding. Lock pin of the DES is low all time. What it mean?
Thanks in advance,
Helen.

Hi Helen,
If the Lock pin on the deserializer is low, then the PLL is unable to lock to the PCLK. Therefore, the ROUT and RXCLKOUT will not be active. Since this is a new case, I will split this thread and provide a link to the old thread.
Can you provide some more information about your setup?
- What data rate are you running?
- Block diagrams/schematics you can share?
- Have you tried performing the remote wake-up sequence according to the steps denoted in the original thread Sebastian posted?
- Have you changed the device ID for serializer and deserializer from default?
Thanks,
Michael
