UH301/UH302 damping resistor recommendation value

 Hello,
My customer uses UH301 and UH302.  They connect damping resistors on both UH301/UH302.  If they connected 47ohm at their 1wk(1st work=1st prototype), it didn't work.  The back channel data was wrong(no ACK).  If they did 22ohm, it worked.  Therefore they did 22ohm for their 2wk(2nd work).
        Damping Result
1wk 47ohm     NG <- Timing violation?
        22ohm     OK
2wk 22ohm     OK
Questions
1. Do you know why the damping resistor of 47ohm had timing issue on only back channel?
2. Do you have a recommendation value of damping resistor for UH301/UH302?
