DS90UH927 un-used LVDS input signals

Hi expert,

Let me double-check about below.

My customer do NOT use all video input signals(RxIN+/-[3:0] and CLKIN+/-)of DS90UH927.(They will use only audio signals)

In this case, they can leave "open" for these un-used pins.

Because I believe that DS90UB/UH series have fail-safe function, and this will stabilize output.

Is my understanding correct ?

If there is proper termination for un-unused LVDS input pins, please let me know.

The inputs could be left open since there is fail-safe on the inputs, but there may be some suscpetability to noise, so it would be better to connect the inverting inputs to GND.

Hi Mark,

May I confirm;

According to UH927 datasheet VCM exists at RXIN , so I personally guessed the unused RXIN+/- should be connected to GND via capacitor i.e. AC connected to GND... Is my understanding wrong ? Please correct me if I am wrong. Sorry for I am bothering you.
