DS90UB940 master mode

Dear Sir

I would like to use DS90UB929 and DS90UB940 for HDMI to MIPI Panel

I have some question

1. DS90UB940 can't be a master mode to read SPI Flash or EEPROM register automaticly ,Is it right? ( 940's SPI or I2C will pass the signal from host side or device side)

2.If I want to use one pin of DS90UB940 to controller "MIPI Mux 2:1 switch" channel selection when HDMI cable insert in DS90UB929 (PS. DS90UB940 detect some of signal deliver from DS90UB929)

How could I do this function??

Hello Kai,

1. Yes, this is a SPI pass-through interface. The master is external to our link, and we will pass the SPI messages through to a remote slave.

2. I'm not sure what exactly you mean here. Can you elaborate on the details of the system architecture and desired behavior?
