Problem with I2C "ack" between DS90UB925Q and DS90UB926Q

Hello,

I am having intermittent troubles with the acknowledge signal when I try to read a downstream device attached to my deserializer (see image, the channels 0 and 1 are local I2C and the channels 2 and 3 are remote attached to a touchpad).

Could this problem be caused by a back channel error? Because we have noticed that the back channel errors during BIST test register in the serializer (reg. : 0x1B) and the CRC error LSB and MSB registers also in serializer (reg. 0x0A and 0x0B) always read 0xFF. Our forward channel works just fine (no glitches on our display), but the back channel does not.

Can you help me? Thank you!
