DS90UB913A-Q1 / 2Mpixel 30fps

Hello,

Can I use DS90UB913A-Q1 with 2Mpixel 30fps?
Since DS90UB913A-Q1 can be used for 1Mpixel 60fps, I think that we can use the device with 2Mpixel 30fps.
If yes ,are there concerning point for 2Mpixel 30fps against 1Mpixel?

  • The DS90UB913A is limited by the PCLK rate, so the resolution of the imager being used would be limited by the depth of the pixels. For example, a 1980 x 1080 x 30 fps would require 64.2MHz - with some overhead for blanking, it would come out to approx 75MHz. If the image sensor is operating in a RAW mode, with 10 bits per pixel, then it would be possible to support the 2MP imager at 30fps.
  • Hello Mark san,

    Thank you for the reply.
Can we use 2MP/30fps with 12bit High Frequency mode?

I think that the calculation would be 2200x1125x30fps=74.25MHz.
12bit/HF mode support up to 75MHz PCLK.
