DS90UB913 to VGA or HDMI

Hi TI Experts,

DS90UB913Q serializer looks like a bidirectional control channel, please suggest if you have any solution available.

Thanks in advance

Veeru

  • Hello Veeru,

Will 720p60 or 1080p30 resolution suffice for your application? This is the resolution supported by the UB913 device.

The E2E post below is similar to what you are asking (although this post described LVDS options, not HDMI). In order to connect with a device that has HDMI outputs you would likely need to look into our DS90UB94x series of devices. These devices are specifically designed for display applications, not camera applications, however they can be still be used to transmit any type of data - independent of whether the data is coming from a camera or not.

  • HI Sean,

Thanks a lot for your reply, i am not able to access the post, please let me know how can i access the data which is mentioned in the post.

    Thanks

  • Hello Veeru,

Is the customer's application for a camera system or a display system?

Our DS90UB925 to DS90UB928 provides the YUV to LVDS solution - these parts are primarily aimed at display applications but technically they can be used for a camera application as well.

We are also sampling our next-generation DS90UB960 devices which provide a CSI-2 output and are specifically aimed at a camera application. This chip can be interfaced with a DS90UB913A which as you know has a YUV (LVCMOS) input.

  • Hi Sean,

Our automotive camera use DS90UB913A, could you confirm DS90UB960 can interface with four DS90UB913A?
How about the schedule of DS90UB960?
Where can I get DS90UB960 datasheet or advanced information?(we already contact with local TI window, but didn't got further information)

    BR,
    Rex
  • Hello Rex,

Yes, I can confirm that 4, 913A's will work with 1 960 device.

Please email me for schedule and advanced information regarding 960 - s-thornton@ti.com.

    Best regards,

    Sean

  • Hi Sean,

Will email related information for you by mail.
Just confirm your email is thornton@ti.com, is it right?

    1. DS90UB960  to   ds90ub913a-q1 (RAW mode),  can  ds90ub913a-q1 be inputed by YUV422 8bits mode?

    2  is DS90UB960   MIPI visual channel   line-interleaved bringing ?

    Thanks.
