Retimer IC for Thunderbolt3

Hi Team,

My customer considers to adopt Thunderbolt3 for laptop application.
Does TI have retimer IC for the solution?
I would also like to know if there is any roadmap for it.

    Hi Yaita-san,

    I checked with marketing for both our SVA Datapath Solutions and the Dallas High Speed Interface groups, and we do not have any active projects for a retimer IC in the Thunderbolt-3 space. We also do not have a roadmap for this, unfortunately.

    Plans may change regarding development in the future. Please check back in about a year's time to see if there has been updates in the roadmap.
