Hello,

We have heard about Type-C based TPS65982 in which Power Delivery controller providing cable & plug orientation detection at USB Type-C connector.

Kindly Let us know about TPS65982 IC is capable to charge USB 2.0 devices or not (As per BC 1.2 specification - different types of charging profiles:- CDP, DCP, and SDP) and If yes, Is there any mechanism to handle charging of USB 2.0 devices?

Any help in this case,it will be appreciated.
