This data link has a back-channel to support bidirectional I2C communication. We have seen a low frequency modulation on top of the 700 MHz serial clocked data of the forward Channel Link data. The low frequency modulation is used to communicate the back channel data. My question is about the phase of this back channel modulation data. Is this low frequency modulation signal phase locked to the forward channel clock or is it asynchronous?
