DS90UR907 compatible to S90UR910?

Hi,

the DS90UR907 datasheet states few compatible devices, DS90UR910 is not on that list.

are they compatible ?

The need in my design is to convert Camera Link i\f (FPD i) to SCI-2 i\f, that is the reason for the use in those 2 devices.

FPD i --> FPD ii --> CSI-2

Hello Tamir,

Please read the DS90UR910Q datasheet on page 16. The devices are compatible with each other. Make sure to run at a PCLK frequency that is the compatible overlap of both (10-65 MHz).

DS90UR907 has also 2 CONFIG[1:0] pins in order to configure which device its connected to.

what should i configure in those pins?

the config list in the 907 datasheet doesnt include the 910 device.

the same question goes for DS90UR905 as well - what the configure in its CONFIG[1:0] pins?

Hello,

Please configure the pins like you were connecting to a DS90UR908 deserializer. The config options that will work are Config[1:0] = 00 or Config[1:0] = 01 depending upon if you want the control signal filter disabled or enabled, respectively.
