Hi Team,

I am now trying to get the CML output of DS90UB948-Q1 EVM to measure the eye diagram. And I have set bellow registers according to user guide but still get nothing. Do you have any idea why it is?

Nic,
yes, the CML register setting is correct. So for your system, it has no CMLout, could you check what is the pairing part with UB948? the LOCK pin is high or low? To have CML output, we need secure the link works well with forward channel communication.

Hi Steven,

The pairing part is UB947 and the LOCK pin is high. Actually I connected LVDS source to 947/8 to panel and the panel is working properly.

Now I want to get 948 CML output but get nothing. The scope bandwidth is 8GHz. Did I miss anything?

Nic,

1. can you check the coupling capacitors in the CML output trace?

2. can you measure the input high speed signal in the UB948 input?
