Hi,

I buit a OV2775+953-->964 system for a SVS applicaton, when camera module is connected to 964 RX0 port, sensor ID can be detected but when sensor setram on, ID sometimes can not be detected.

If I move the move connected to RX1 port, sensor ID can not be detected.

When sensor stream on, there will be a large current, so I provided an independent power5~12v on 964 side, but still no improvement with ID detection.

I guess the BCC communication is not good, but I have no idea how to established a stable BCC, could you provide some suggestions

BTW,

What is the main difference between 964 and 960?

I have a 964 board which is good with 913

If used it with 953, HW need to be modified or not? Just change 964 and 953 init setting?

1. when connecting UB953 to UB964, you should have correct mode selection based on d/s.

2. UB960 support up to 12.8Gbps data rate, and has more design for reliability design.

I guess maybe the cause is 964 POC design inductor is not proper and sensor output current is a little large exceed its saturate current.

Do you know how to select these key devide with POC design?

Not the POC design if you use TI's EVM.
for both UB953 and UB913A, if connecting with UB964, the POC design is similar. One possible reason is that in your camera module with UB953, what is the sensor's power consumption?
regarding the POC design, please just follow up TI's EVM ref. design.
