DS10BR150: Is supply current proportional to data rate?

Part Number: DS10BR150
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS25BR440, DS25BR110

Hi Team,

I'm trying to understand whether or not the supply current of an LVDS buffer is at all related to the data rate passed through the device.

Say for example I were to send a 4MHz signal through the DS10BR150 device. Since this frequency is much less than the max data rate spec (1Gbps), would the supply current used by the buffer be less than the typical supply current consumption (16mA)?

If this is true, do we have any type of graph to show this relation? I'm specifically interested on data for these 3 devices: DS10BR150, DS25BR110, DS25BR440.

Thanks in advance,
Mitchell
