DS90LV004: connect two board with LVDS signal

I need to connect two board with LVDS signal. The distance between these two boads is 6 meters. I want two use DS90LV001 as the buffer on the receiver board. But I am worried that one buffer is not enough. So I want to add DS90LV004 on the transmit boad. Is it OK? Or is there any better suggestions?

Hi Wenle,

It is very helpful to understand the datarate and media attenuation characteristics of the application. Typically an LVDS receiver can handle ~ 3 dB of signal attenuation without equalization. Beyond 3 dB, an LVDS receiver like the DS25BR110 can be used to help recover the eye opening lost to attenuation.
