Hello Trung,
As I said, we do not have this adapter or any solution for this adapter; hence you need to develop your own board/ adapter for that.
If you tell me what you want to do or what is your application maybe I can help you with other ideas?
Please note, this forum is public. So, I would not post any confidential info in here.
Hi Hamzeh,
All I want is to find a existing solution to split a video signal from a LVDS FPDLink3 camera with FAKRA connector as below.
These split signals will be fed into 2 different modules that process the image frames simultaneously.
My idea was using a Deserializer hub (964/960) with 2 CSI-2 output and then reconstruct the signals using 2 Serializer boards supporting CSI-2 input (i.e.: 953).
I don't know if there is a better idea, for example just using a FAKRA Y-splitter, but not sure that we can access the image simultaneously
I appreciate if you can advise to find an optimal solution for our need.
Thanks a lot!
Trung
Hi Trung,
I wouldn’t split the signal due to signal integrity issues.
The 913A can drive 2 cables, one with the (+) pin and one with the (-) pin, but only one side can have the backchannel at a time. so if backchannel is not required then you can try this possibility. Note that, this isn’t spec’d in the datasheet and not validated, so I wouldn’t use it in production.
It’s normally better to split the signal on the DES side into two CSI-2 ports using the 954 or 960.
Another alternative is to build an inline T-adapter to plug in between the cable using a 934+FPGA+933 combination.
hope that helps.
