SN65LVDS31: Application for hot-plug in back-plane

Hi team,

My customer previously is using SN65MLVD206 & DS90LV032 in backplane MLVDS bus application.

Now they want to employ SN65LVDS31 or DS90LV031 as backplane LVDS trasmitter.

Since previously their boards could support hot-swap, and customer is also not quite familiar with the hot-swap standard, could you help to share whether SN65LVDS31 and DS90LV031 have the same hot-swap level as previous SN65MLVD206 & DS90LV032 they used?

Hello,

Please clarify the hot swap scenario. You mentioned backplane MLVDS... please notice that SN65MLVD206 is MLVDS part, while SN65LVDS31, DS90LV031A, DS90LV032A are LVDS parts.
