DS90UB953-Q1: DS90UB953-Q1 @5Mpixel, 60fps, 10-bit Color

Part Number: DS90UB953-Q1

I want to interface an ON Semiconductor AR0521D to a DS90UB953-Q1 serializer and a matching deserializer.  The data sheet for the AR0521D claims the camera chip outputs four lanes of CSI-2 plus the clock.  At 5Megapixels, it supports 60fps at only 10 bit color depth.  If I choose that mode, the aggregate data rate will be a little over 3Gps, which the DS90UB953-Q1 should support easily (the datasheet even shows a very respectable eye diagram @4Gbps, on. p. 13).  What concerns me is that the datasheet for the DS90UB953-Q1 only talks about 2MP @60fps and other image formats which I am not using.  But CSI-2 is CSI-2 and I don't see why the DS90UB953-Q1 would not support my application, but I just want to make sure I am not missing something subtle about the CSI-2/DPHY.
