Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UB953-Q1
In the DS90UB954-Q1 datasheet, the REFCLK input range is 23 to 26 MHz.
We tried the 27MHz REF_CLK in the 1920x1080 60p [OV2740 ==> DS90UB953 (27MHZ CLK_OUT) ==> DS90UB954 Synchronous Mode (27MHz REF_CLK) ==> ISP] but it did not affect the picture quality and jitter.
So we are wondering about the specification for the REF_CLK input range.
What are the assumed problems in mass production when we use 27MHz in REF_CLK?
We tried 18.5625MHz REF_CLK on the same board, the CLK_OUT (37.125MHz) look of the DS90UB953 is normal, but CLK_OUT (37.125MHz) is not suitable for the OV2740, so we could not check the image state.
We are designing a new board with a new image sensor that needs to use 37.125MHz CLK_IN and wonder if the image quality of the new board is good.
Does it make sense for us to create a board with a 37.125MHz image sensor? Otherwise, is it meaningless?
We are waiting for your positive reply.
