DS90UB954-Q1EVM: DS90UB954-Q1EVM : ALP recognize 954 as unknown device

Please follow up page14 of UB954Q1-EVM user guide, the on-board USB I/f is mini-use, so you don't need upgrade the firmware.

To bring up UB954Q1, the ALP tool is the last or not? the UB954Q1 is powered with 12V?

If you still have issue, can you try other PC or try other FPD-Link EVM board to isolate what makes this issue. thanks.

The ALP version is v1.57.0010, power supply is 12v.

Testing on other PC, the issue still exists.

DS90UB953-Q1EVM: Tested on the DS90UB953-Q1EVM, ALP can correctly identify devices.

DS90UB954-Q1EVM+DS90UB953-Q1EVM: ds90ub954-q1EVM still can't  identify the device information, but ds90ub953-q1EVM can identify its own device information and the partner device information, two male USB-to-mini usb cables replaced.  Whether it indicates that there is a problem with ds90ub954-q1EVM usb to i2c or not ? Do you have another solution ?

From this test, it sounds on-board UB954 chip can work correctly. maybe it has issue in the USB control chip.

can you power down and power on it for more times? if still can't work, please use one new EVM board.

still can't recognize UB954 for now, and customer want to reprogram the EVM for retest,

please help to advise which firmware need to download with this EVM?

send to us if possible.

Sorry, we can't provide the firmware to your customer directly.

the optional solution is that you should get  one new EVM board.
