Dear, support team.

We are looking for a reference design or application notes for fiber optic cable instead of single coax or STP cable in the transmission of FPD Link３.
Please tell me if there is a method of optical cable transmission with FPD link 3.

    If change the transmission media from cable to fiber with FPD-Link III solution, please note:
    1. back channel can't be used in fiber system;
    2. please check our serializer and de-serilaizer I/f spec. in d/s, which includes data rate, output jitter and jitter tolerance, driver capability, and receiver's sensitivity, etc.. Now the typical optical module can't match it well as I know.

    Thank you for your reply.
    I think that, I can't send and receive directly with optical fiber.
    I will be careful when sending output jitter and jitter tolerance via fiber optic module.
