Please advise me on how LMH1983 assert/de-assert NOLOCK signal. Referring the datasheet, LMH1983 decide NOLOCK condition based on two registers, LOCK_STEP_SIZE (0x2D) & LOCK1_THRESHOLD (0x1C). LOCK_STEP_SIZE (0x2D) specifies amount of validation permitted on VC_LF pin LOCK1_THRESHOLD (0x1C) specifies...

Can you give me the hint when you design the depth of the FIFO In a system bellow. The system consist of two blocks. They are primal block and secondary block. The primal block generates pixel clock, video data as well as FVH sync pulses in SD, HD and 3G formats. The secondary block receives FVH pulse...

    Kikuo Mita Kikuo Mita
Please advise me on LMH1983 power. Some of device may sensitive to the power up curve. Slow rump may case trouble on a device. In other case, too steep rump up curve me fools the on-chip Power-On-Reset circuit. If power supply which rump between 1ms to 100ms never case trouble to the LMH1983?

  • Forum Post: LMH1983 Drift Clock

    Newton Newton
    1. Would like to use drift lock to sync up to the input reference. Is drift lock applicable only during a loss of the same input reference? 2. The LMH1983 datasheet has a typo on page 14. Can you please clarify the functionality of TOF1_Sync_Near and TOF1_Sync_far?

  • Forum Post: Glitch on the LMH1983 NO_LOCK indicator

    Kikuo Mita Kikuo Mita
When LMH1983 gets lock to the reference input, NO_LOCK indicator goes and back between High and Low state. Is it expected behavior? If so, are there any way to remove such glitch? If not, how long do you need to wait before the indicator gets stable? Can you expect the minimum pulse width?

We have DVI into the system and we pass it through SDRAM and out the other end. If the user pushes a button and locks the display, the data that was passing through SDRAM is now used to refresh the display until the user “unlocks” and then the live data picks back up. Now, during this lock...
