Hi, I'd like to do a simulation of one of our boards. What I'm lacking is IBIS-models of the TFP410. On the product page there is no IBIS-model. There's this big ZIP-file with hundreds of models available for download at http://focus.ti.com/adc/docs/midlevel.tsp?contentId=23670, but...

Often we are asked how the different LCD interface technologies compare in power, cost, and performance, and which technology is the best. The answer is not exactly black and white. A good introduction with a comprehensive comparison table to this topic can be found in this article initially published...

Hello, I am an electrical engineer working for Casco Products Corp. My company is searching for a solution to take a HDMI input, decrypt the video and audio and send the signal out via LVDS to a Blue-ray player. This would minimize the amount of HDMI cable needed for our solution. The solution...

Hi, We have since clarified requirements on this request and have found that FPD-Link III is the preferred method of transmission. This means our module will only need the serializer DS90UH925. If this design pans out we will indeed seek HDCP licensing and contact TI/National further for samples/pricing...

Greetings - There are a number of application variables that might determine or change on what this can be done. For example is the HDMI carrying HDCP protected content? What is the color depth and also the clocking details above seem odd as stated. I also assume you are converting the "display"...

    John Goldie John Goldie
Greetings - Sorry for the holiday delay in response. The DS34RT5110 has a TMDS style driver. It is a sink only driver, the Receiver that it talks to provides the pull up resistors (50 Ohm) which are to 3.3V. 5V is not expected. With the normal load applied, the VOH should be VCC (3.3V) and the VOL...

    Gary Melchior Gary Melchior
Please try setting the MODE pin high to disable the clock regeneration and see if this works in your application. If this does not work and you must set BYPASS high for proper operation, then perhaps the incoming jitter is exceeding the PLL / CDR bandwidth of the DS34RT5110.
