Hi,

I'm using PC16550D UART in a processor card development. Please provide me thermal resistance ( junction to ambient) parameter Θ JA (ºC /W)  for PC16550D at the earliest.

    Hi -

    I dont see this data listed in the datasheet. This is an older device.  Which package are you using (MDIP or PLCC)?  I will enquire with product group on this.

    Greeetings -

    I received TYP numbers to share with you on both packages and Theta JA and JC

    PC16550DV JA = 50.4, JC = 11 C/W

    PC16550DN JA = 36.8, JC = 16.3 C/W
