In the board we are developing, we have implemented a LIN interface with tms470mf03107 UART controller & tpic1021a transceiver.We would like to wake up the equipment by sending a remote wake up command over the LIN interface. Upon a valid LIN wake up, the tpic1021awill exit to sleep mode & enter into stand by mode (refer data sheet p5 : state diagram) : INH is driven high to enable power supply or microcontroller.Does INH remains high? If INH has to return to Low, how long is the INH driven high after a remote wake up (INH high pulse duration)?The tpic1021a is fully active if we eneable it by driving HIgh EN pin. It means that we have to enter into normal mode from stand by state.

Finaly a TI field application engineer replied to the question : the answer was in the page 5 of the data sheet (state diagram). Following a remote LIN wake up the tpic1021a enters in stand by mode and remains in this state. In this state INH is driven high and allows to enable a power regulator or a microcontroller. The tpic1021a requires to drive EN input high to enter in normal mode. In this mode the tpic1021a is fully operational : LIN trasmission or reception are permitted. If the EN input is driven low, the tpic1021a will enter in sleep mode and ready for another wake up.
