Now we have one inquiry regarding surge transient protections for SN65HVD72 from our customer.
Please refer to the item below, and feedback us with your comment.
When referring Figure 22. on datasheet page 16, CRCW060310RJNEAHP is suggested for R1 and R2.
However, when referring the datasheet of this resistor, the power rating is only 0.25W.
We assume this is not enough when considering about maximum driver short current (160mA), at least 0.5W would be necessary.
Please let us clarify how we could understand about suit power rating for this part.
